Music

Music plays an important part in school life. The children are given opportunities to listen to an extensive range of music. Singing and the use of percussion instruments develop a sense of pitch and rhythm. There is a wide range of musical instruments and equipment available. Concerts in the form of Musical Mornings and Christmas performances give all the children an opportunity to perform in front of a friendly audience which helps to build self confidence.

The year 4s learn to play the guitar.  

We have peripatetic teachers who teach piano and guitar.
