Religious Education & Collective Worship

The Bedfordshire Agreed Syllabus is used to teach religious education.

The school aims to contribute to the development of children as individuals and members of society, by offering a reflective attitude to life and an awareness and tolerance of the many faiths and cultures in order to help prepare them for life in our multicultural society.

Assemblies cover areas such as current affairs and how to be a good human being.  We aim to inspire a sense of awe and wonder about the natural world and to create responsible children who care for the environment.

Children participate in a daily act of worship.  Parents who wish to exclude their children from collective worship are invited to discuss this with the Headteacher.
